High above Heidelberg, on the extensive grounds of the Landessternwarte (LSW), a unique SkyPole system for observing celestial objects is to be put into operation in September 2023. The Klaus Tschira Foundation (KTS) is making the project possible so that even larger groups of visitors than before can experience the fascinating observation of the starry sky with the naked eye. Whether planets, stars, constellations or satellites, all of this will be on display: pure astronomy!
